Many years from now... The worlds population reaches 54 billion... Communism rules the world... And Plate tectonics create the Drift. Maze Tribec has yet to face reality, being the child of someone in control she has a perfect life, like a few other handfuls of individuals. Yet everything changes when she is mistaken for someone else. Now the world's most powerful person's daughter is treated like the rest of the people, like a pheasant. With equality that is very low and with respect that's even lower. One thing is for certain Maze has been in oblivion for too long. After being selected to go to the Drift, a place that's like an unwanted human dump, can Maze finally see reality as it is.
