Julianne Rowe knows very little about the world beyond the small countryside town she has grown up in. This story dives into her life every autumn as she learns all about how to grow up in a small place and still thrive in the big world.
Note from the author: The setting was based off of a dream! I'm not exactly sure where the dream was supposed to take place from, but my guess is that it was from Chantré, Burgundy, which had an equestrian center on one side and a castle outbuilding at the end. "Julianne", however, takes place not in France near a castle outbuilding, but in a small rural part of the American countryside.
