Elena Morris has spent her entire life trying not to take up space. Quiet, bookish, and plus-size, she's mastered the art of invisibility at college-especially around guys like Jace Carter, the charming star athlete who leaves a wake of attention wherever he goes. So when Jace ends up in her creative writing class and-worse-asks her to tutor him, Elena braces herself for disaster. But Jace is nothing like she expected. He listens. He shows up. And beneath the swagger is someone surprisingly sincere... and maybe a little broken too. Over long nights in the library, shared stories, and too many vanilla lattes, something real begins to bloom-something that terrifies Elena even as it makes her feel more seen than ever before. One explosive kiss shatters the fragile line between them, and just as they begin to build something honest and beautiful, Elena discovers she's pregnant. What follows is a tender, raw, and deeply emotional journey-through fear, through love, through the ache of learning to believe she's enough. With Jace by her side, unwavering and all-in, Elena begins to find her voice not just in writing... but in life.
