I fight for breath, and yet those are the only words that I can conjure up in my mind. I can feel my vision blurring, my heart racing. And yet, my mind only remains on those two words. I can't breathe, I can't see, I can't feel. But it's all I want to do is run.

Alex was always considered "normal." She finally got the boy of her dreams, with remarkable grades and an amazing transcript, only to be shipped away - kicking and screaming - to Florida. 1,000 miles from home, Alex must fight to rekindle relationships, and begin new ones in what might become her home some day. Through making friends, maintaining a high GPA, keeping her name intact, and trying to maintain a normal life with extremely strict parents, Alex must face the biggest adversities of her let thus far.
They say junior year of high school isn't going to be easy, but it just got a hell of a lot harder.
