Mature
Valerie Rothwell has been extremely unstable lately. Born with depression and a temper of the same intensity, she finds herself mad at her mother for being so weak, she's mad at her stepmother for stealing her dad away from her and her mother (among other things), mad at her father for leaving her mother, and mad at herself for not being as strong as she wants to be, and letting herself feel nonexistent to almost everyone around her. Her only (non self-harming) escape is the Morningstar Academy of the Arts, where she plays the violin. But even that has been taken from her, since her father forces her to be a day student at the academy instead of living on campus like she has previously. Needless to say, Valerie is pissed. What happens when one of the popular guys on campus is suddenly around her "home" all the time? Will he make her life a little more bearable? Or will he, or his player-ish ways, make everything worse?

The Healing Touch

35 parts Complete Mature

Fifteen years and adulthood can't really change a person can it? What if one person had lived a hard existence and the other became an award winning rockstar? Will their personalities be the same as years ago? Easton is home as Waters Run Deep as they get a much-needed break from touring. When his best friend uses his weakness against him to draw him to their fifteen-year class reunion on a river bar, he doesn't regret the deception. Anaya has lived a quiet life on the outside for everyone to see, on the inside of the little house she shared with her boyfriend, it was pure hell. Pain was a constant. One of the rare occasions that she was able to get him to do something that she wanted outside of the house; she comes face to face with someone who she's been thinking about for years. When Anaya's boyfriend shows his true colors in his treatment of her at the reunion, it will start a series of events that will change her entire life. Fear can change how you see yourself and how you see the world. How much will Anaya's world change when that veil of abuse is lifted? What happens when the veil falls again?
