A year after Eddie sacrifices himself to erase Wells from existence, Barry, Iris, Caitlin, Cisco, and Joe are all surprised when an Eddie from a different universe shows up, wondering around Central City, searching for someone. They bring him back to the rebuilt S.T.A.R labs and find out that in the world he came from, Barry died and it was a complete wasteland where only few survived and even more strange Eddie and Barry were married. AU Eddie traveled from this hellhole, wanting to rekindle the relationship he lost so violently. But will Barry feel the same way? Or will Eddie's hardships and effort be for nothing but a doomed dream in a far away place?
