Sometimes I wonder who I am...well most times. I've become so accustomed wearing a mask around different people and faking a smile with so much pain...that i even ask myself: who? Am? I? Everyone has different opinions, stories, and experiences in life. In primary school, we were taught that a smile means happiness and crying means sadness. In this unchanging world, filled with laughter and sorrow, how long will we pretend that we're just fine? How long will we fake a smile while tears threaten to fall? No one seems to ask - because everyone carries their own burdens. Beneath their smiles lie stories no one dares to uncover. But what if someone didn't just empathize, but truly sympathized with you?
