This story is about my life based on true events. I was born and bread in a small town in Kentucky. At once I thought my life was perfect but then it turned out to be (Not So Perfect) and everything began to crumble around me.
When I was younger I was so proud of my parents even though they had their ups and downs.
I was proud of my last name and who I was, then my father gave up drinking turning to drugs shortly after and soon to follow my mother picked up drinking,drugs,cheating and stealing.
Me being an eleven year-old not knowing much about life and what was to come. I had to grow up quick and take care of my two younger siblings, I became mom to my brother and sister.

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. 10 years. 10 years of hating Griffin Taylor. Luckily for me, he lives hundreds of miles away and I very rarely have to handle the knowledge he's in town for his 48 hour visits. Some supposed best friend he turned out to be. Mum and dad would have screamed at him for hours for missing the things he did. Though, Griffin Taylor never did care about other people's feelings. I lost my mom at 11, that's when it started. My dad became a drunk and I was left to take care of my 3-month-old baby sister. Now I'm 23, graduated a few years ago and my sister, now 12, can understand what happened. She never fully understood when I needed someone to and I didn't have many friends that stuck around afterwards. Until I met him. We were friends first, then the feelings got deeper. He asked me to be his girlfriend. He was my first kiss, first date, first real friend, first love, everything. I loved him and I do. I've said it. Now all we do is fight. Optimism in That 'Condition'
This is the story of many who think are alone and are left out. They feel abandoned and some are even despised. Good news; you are neither left out nor abandoned; we are in a different generation, where people have learn to embrace and love ‘us’. You are not alone in the fight; there is a great multitude in front of, at the back and beside you; so take courage. Having gone through this experience, I can testify that the people around me have really been there for me. I feel loved, especially my mum, who is my role model and my greatest inspiration. She has really molded me into being the kind of responsible person I am. I am thankful to her. So I welcome you to my adventure as an optimistic person.
