When a routine urine drug test came back positive, Birdie White assured her boss she was not an addict. When a professor confronted Birdie White over her blood shot eyes and absence in class, Birdie White assured the dean of law she was not an addict. When a bottle of codeine filled prescription pills were stolen for the 'fourth time', Birdie White assured her pharmacist she was not an addict. When a bag full of marijuana joints were found beneath her pillow, Birdie White assured her mother she was not an addict. But when Birdie White found herself strapped to a hospital bed and no recollections of the night before, she couldn't assure herself anything. Except, that she was having the ultimate migraine.
