This is a [Batman: Arkham] Riddler fanfiction.
The Riddler's companion, Polly, was taken into custody by Batman during a trial run of the villain's newest large-scale puzzle. Locked up in a filthy jail cell in the GCPD for three days, the girl who doesn't speak gave up nothing during the rigorous questioning she endured. A frustrated Gordon finally decides they need to let her go since they have no legal recourse for holding her -- much to Batman's frustration.
Now, back on the streets of Gotham, Polly is determined to return to the Riddler and pick-up where they started. Professionally and romantically.
