Meanwhile, Richard Anderson is having the worst day of life. Melvin Quinten, same age as Richard but from a different school, just got the "most popular kid of the year" award...for the fifth time in a row. When a field trip to Professor Huiter's lab's remains involved both schools, both Richard and Melvin are hit by one of Professor Stewart's machines and develop superhuman abilities that are unimaginable.
