Poetry
This book is comprised of fifteen different poems -- lyric, spoken word, and free verse. They show how people with disabilities are often treated differently than other "normal" people, even though there really is no such thing as "normal". Some of these poems are in third person, but others are from my point of view, or my friend's. Yes, I am a girl with an actual disability; I use a wheelchair at school and I have a nurse constantly by my side. My friend understands what is going on with me medically, and so we decided to write these together. I hope you read, understand, and share these poems.
