The epilogue for my novel 'My Dark Home'. It sets the scene for Simon and his adventure as he tries to escape his situation. This is my first draft and so there are many errors in it that will be corrected later on. Please read and follow :) I hope you enjoy it :D

Who looses their love? -- Some say the witching hour is 3am, others say 1pm, but how can it be witching hour if I'm not awake. I woke up at 5:30 am. My eyes held the status: bloodshot. I sat up, and thought to myself. I then got out of bed carefully, so Mario would wake. I put some slippers on and walked out. I made my way down the hall and turned into the nook where the entrance of the elevators were. I sat on the ledge of the window and leaned my head against the window. Admiring the view. "Can I join you?" A voice said. I responded instantly, by shooting my head off the window and in the direction of the source. "Sure" I said with a welcomed smirk. He sat next to me on the ledge. "What are you doing up?" He asked "I am pretty sure you know the answer to that from when we dated." I said with a small laugh "Nightmares?" He said smoothly. Like silk. I inhaled deeply at the thought of my last horror. "So, why are you up?" I said turning the subject around. "Couldn't sleep, so I came out here to watch the sunrise" He sounded so innocent. "I'm so sorry for everything I put you through." I said looking down "It's not your fault. You mentally got an ultimatum. You can't blame anyone for that." "I just don't know what to say. You've always been the sweet one to me. You treated me right. Thank you for being there for me." I said extending my arms. All he did was smile and accept the embrace.
