Dear Lilah ✔️ short story

17 year old Lilah Vega had a normal life, she was pretty, wasn't to geeky, wasn't to popular, had B+’s and A-‘s in almost every subject, and she was single. Everything was just fine; her friends Emily, Sofia, and Ariana all lived the same typical life. Until Thursday, July 19th, 2012, 5:46 PM. Lilah had been driving to her Aunt Delaney’s house when she was involved in a fatal car accident on the interstate. A few days later, just before July 21st, Lilah’s 18th birthday, Emily finds a box labeled Dear Lilah in her closet, full of unsent letters from Ariana, herself, and Sofia. These letters were supposed to be given to Lilah that day, but never had the chance to get to their receiver. Emily finds herself heartbroken that Lilah never got to see the letters, and every day for as long as it takes to read every letter, Emily, Sofia, and Ariana read the letters, to cherish the moments they thought they had forgotten with Lilah Marie Vega.
