I'd like to say that I love my life. That I have a completely normal one, going to school daily, having friends and a beautiful girlfriend, being popular, et cetera et cetera...
    But no.
    That'd be a lie.
    I live in a scary era that some people call the 'Zombie Apocalypse'. No, it is not cool and adventure-y and all that you might be thinking; it'a absolutely scary.
    And, no, I do not carry a chainsaw around, slashing crawling zombies in half. Nor do I carry a club covered in spikes and beat them to a pulp; that's my older sister's job.
    I think I'm talking too much, let's get on to the story of my short life.
    I am Hunter Scaar, fifteen years old, living in a family of four: me, my sister Katelyn, and my father Michael, and my younger brother Caleb.

This is a fan fiction based on the last of us game the time line of the story takes place at the end of the game and different location (sorta). I'm also going to do that thing that the game did with the seasons,the whole game is technically a year. If you watch game play you'll know what I'm talking about. This story may contain very similar events to the game (because I not the best with my own ideas) so I want give as much credit to naughty dog and the story developers of the game and the creators or artists of the covers of most of the story parts and maybe music, because I don't own them and to be honest the game itself gave me some ideas, and inspired me to make this story. oh I'm not sure if this is a good Idea but the characters in the story are me and my friends but only first names I don't wanna give out last names if that is too much and by the way not all of the characters are my friends I made a couple of them up. Just wanted to put my self in the action. I'll probably make a sequel to this story so hope you like it. This is sort of a mature audience type of story, but there is not going to that much romance...well there is actually, but don't expect it to be all that this story has to offer. Plus the cover might be a little off since Wattpad covers isn't working with me right for some reason. The story is basically a large group of teenagers are trying to survive in a world that had been left in ruins for twenty years with violent zombified creatures and bandits,cannibales etc. PS this is my first book on Wattpad,so really hope you like. In the words of a great philosopher; there is no limit to the gruesome and grotesque things we are willing to do in the name of survival. While reading this; Remember that not everything is as it seems. Remember that loved characters will die. Remember that the world will gradually get worse as the parts go on. Take a moment to ask yourselves these questions: What would you do in the name of survival? Would you steal to survive? Would you kill to survive? Would you lose your mind to survive? If you lost your mind, do you think you'd kill more, steal, injure, backstab, rape or any other atrocity you can think of? If you can think of it, then maybe you would. The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out.
