Sydney was your everyday run of the mill teenager. She played soccer, got perfect grades, and even had the perfect boyfriend. However, everyone’s life decides to take a turn for the worst, and that year was Sydney’s junior year of high school. Now she is a senior living in the pool locker room of an all-girls private school in Florida, with her little sister, Emma. She will do anything to hide from her past even if that means changing her name, and selling drugs on the street to get by. She is finally getting comfortable with her new life when a new, young, male, assistant soccer coach comes, and stirs everything up. She soon finds herself struggling to not tell him about her past and finds it harder to not fall for him. Will she be able to protect herself, and Emma, or will she risk everything just to have someone by on her side?

Can't Stand You
I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I was laying flat on my back in the dirt with my glove with the ball inside pressed against his chest. Miles was not at all fat, but he was 6'2 compared to my barely 5'3.
