A Ring of Roses

After a series of wars wracks the world and destroys all form of functional society, a ruthless King takes over and forces the remaining people inside a group of walls called The Center. In this perfect society all forms of body modification and free thought are discouraged, and people who have a certain genetic mutation or are a threat to the monarchy are banished outside the walls.

When nineteen year old, model citizen, Kadence Hunter tests positive for the mutation she is sent outside the walls where the train is hijacked by the Exiles. Taken captive by the group she has been taught to fear, Kadence finds that everything she has been told is a lie and the only thing left to do is burn everything to the ground.
