Finding You

He didn't know her name, he'd never seen her before in his life. But one thing is for sure, he had to save her in order to save himself.

Ash was a sixteen year old living with a wealthy family in Taft, California. He was an only child and had everything he ever wanted within an arms reach. He'd never been told no in his life and his parents had never laid a hand on him.

Laurel was sixteen as well, she barely had ten cents to her name and she'd been wearing the same clothes for three days. She lived in a shack with her abusive mother and two little brothers. Willic (4) and Adam (9). They hadn't eaten in almost a week. She knew that if her brothers were going to survive, she'd have to fight to get what they needed in Cali. And that's exactly what she's determined to do.

This is the story of how, in trying to save themselves, they saved each other.
