There was once when I crashed into a flying meteor. The impact was tremendous. Following shortly after the impact, was the "boom". It was so deafening. It felt as if the whole galaxy could hear it. Before I could react, it was pitch black.
Wondering how I survived the crash? Well, I didn't. I died in the crash. And most importantly, I died in the galaxy. In a race.
The peculiar thing is that I woke up. Technically, I was dead yet I still have a beating heart and a working brain.
Thing is, I became a guinea pig. Well, take that figuratively. One thing I know since my eyes open after that race - my life would never be the same again. I would have to be another person. Another Antonio Holbrook.

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. That's when I heard it, footsteps getting closer til a man face appeared in front of me. But my vision is too blurry to see him clearly. That' s when he spoke, "You will be reborn. I'm giving you a second chance.You are not my beloved so you will wake up a soulless killer with no remorse and a burning desire for blood. I can't give you a normal life but I'm giving you the chance for revenge. I can't tell you what to expect because I don't know myself. I have no idea why I'm changing you but something is telling me it is not you're time to die" I had no idea what he' s talking about, well not til I woke up. That night Ivy died and what was reborn is something dark and dangerous. He was right, I am a soulless monster. I have no remorse for the blood I shed. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Concluída
The Rat King
My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. What happened' * ghasp * You gasped upon realization, every bit of your memory flooded back.
Wings of a New Life
When I woke, I wasn't human anymore. The last thing I remember is the impact-a heavy blow, a flash of light, and then darkness. But when my eyes opened again, everything had changed. My body was no longer my own. My senses were heightened, my movements alien. And I was alone, face down in what seemed like an endless, echoing cave. I can't explain what happened, or why I've been reborn this way. A dragon? How could this be real? With each new discovery, I learn more about the creature I've become-but I also wonder: Was it all an accident? Or is there something more sinister at play? What's a Doctor Who?
"Vixen!" He growled behind us. The sound of roaring engines deafened me. I could barely hear anything. We jumped down the steps and onto the pavement below. I looked back and saw Max just jump down the whole flight. Without hesitation too. The Doctor pulled me across the lot, "Vixen!!" I could hear the anger in his voice. Oh, it was either run or die for me now. I looked back once again and saw his eyes were dead black, his teeth looked sharper from a distance, and I was so scared, he looked like his muscles grew bigger, "Run!" The Doctor yelled at me. I focused on running. Where are we gonna go anyhow? I don't think Max is ever gonna stop chasing me. Not until I'm dead. Who am I? I'm a girl with no past. Well, not a good one anyway. I've had a terrible childhood, nothing good about it and now it carries on into my adult life. Well, what am I to do? Nothing, exactly. There's nothing I can do. But I did meet this one guy at the airport one day. Kind of a weird dude considering he calls himself The Doctor and seems to bring along girls to his "Trips". Yeah, that's how I got caught up in all of this, just comes up to me and asked "Do you wanna go on a trip?" Yeah, like that works. Ha! Well, funny enough, it did and now Max is after me and I'm running around with this guy. But this guy....this stranger....was the best thing that ever happened to me.Concluída
