Ten years after Humanity's Purge the peace that once existed between demons, Gods, and humans is now fragile at best. The world is slowly falling back into its chaotic state. A time when outlaws roamed freely and demon hunters were needed is upon us. The boundaries that had been drawn one hundred and thirty years ago are now blurred. The world is in a state of unrest.

Nakos is a mage with peculiar powers. He'll use these powers to aid anyone with enough credits to afford his fee. During one of these task Nakos is entrusted with a book that is strange and mysterious in nature. The book's magic calls out to Nakos' soul even as he tries to ignore its cries.

Salvation and apocalypse can be found with a turn of the page. Nakos soon finds himself being hunted down for the ancient text. Gods, Humans, and the Demon King himself wants to be in possession of the book and its power. There is no safe place for Nakos to run and the key to his survival might lie in the book itself. With so many pursuers hot on his trail there's only one question Nakos can ask himself.
