This is a story about a deaf character who has lived in a strict religious home. One day he get cochlear implant and instantly hates hearing. His mother instinst on keeping them but he does not. He mother tells him he is not perfect that these are a gift from god. He begans to see he's mother ways are not his and infact abusive, as she harms him and he's been trying to protect the family that doesn't love him back.
