One late night you're walking the streets of Gotham. You've been living in Gotham ever since you were little. Both of your parents died when you were at age 19. You have your phone in the back pocket of your jeans, your paycheck hidden in your bra, and your pocketknife ready in your hand. You're looking all around you, nervous that tonight some thugs will try to mug you. After a couple minutes of walking you spot a local bar and decide you need a drink after the long day at work. Little did you know that walking into that bar would change your life.

Y/n L/n grew up in Boston Massachusetts and she lived with her single father until she had proudly turned 18. Her father had came up with a extremely bad illness that could not be treated in Boston. However, the butler- Alfred Pennyworth- decided to help the father and his daughter. sending a private jet to Boston so it could pick both Y/n and her father up to bring them to gotham. While Y/n's father was getting treated in the hospital, Y/n went on a job hunt. She was allowed to stay in the manor of course but Y/n decided it was best for her to get a small apartment, so she did. Y/n had soon turned nineteen, and she went into training to become a skilled detective for the GCPD. And she hasnt had Any contact with Bruce Wayne even since she arrived at gotham. The only one she talked to was alfred. Bruce of course didnt know that his parents friend had a child. But when he heard the knews. He was most definitely shocked. This girl was also older than him by 11 months. Basically a year. Soon.. the two meet under dire circumstances, her father is dying, and bruce has to help her adapt and overcome. Both of them training in the process under Ras Al' Ghul. Back to Gotham. As friends, maybe more. Gotham mourns the billionaire, but also knowing the the Bat has suddenly disappeared, the city is a wreck. The only protectors of the city is the family Bruce built. His family didn't take the news very well, especially his biological son, Damian Wayne. He still continues his journey as the boy wonder. In his recent acts, he has been more violent. Bruce's death has torn the Bat Family apart, leaving the boy alone with Alfred Pennyworth. He never expected to enjoy the manservants company but he would prefer his family to be with him too. They are rarely at the manor anymore, mostly because it felt empty without Bruce there. One night, the boy wonder crosses paths with a thief that he has ran into once before. He never got her name and never bothered to look into it. The last time he's seen her, his father was still alive. The last time he's seen her, she was stealing something small. What happens when he finds out that this thief is one no other than the daughter of Harley Quinn and the Joker? What makes the girl so special? (I do not own the characters in the book. The Bat is dead, gods destroyed cities and killed heroes, villains had retreated and some not even created yet. Nightwing must regain control over his crazy life, a year after the death of Bruce Wayne. A story taking inspiration from Batman comics, movies and video games, with the main character of this media being Dick Grayson, the first Robin sidekick and my personal favourite DC character. I'd like to highlight that this text is based around the concept of elseworlds, multiverses and parallel worlds. None of this is attempting to be canon, I will use some canon as the base for my writings, and I will also create my own canon.
