when sixteen-year old danny fenton and his family decide to get away from the rush of the city and take a vacation in a small woodland town in oregon, danny discovers that this town is anything but ordinary, and the people there even more so. meanwhile, dipper and mabel are entranced by the mysterious teenager that shows up in gravity falls one evening.

i do not claim anything before chapter 08 as my own. i wrote this when i was 14 and it was heavily, heavily, HEAVILY influenced by the online comic cold front created by smphantom until i latched onto a different plotline. i have since spoken with the artist and they were very understanding. please check out cold front! it is very, very good.

It was obviously a clue but she was never good at figuring this stuff out dipper was. But when she did get it the answer frightened her slightly bringing back memories. Bill Cipher Dipper went back to Gravity falls months before they were supposed to. Why did he leave a note about Bill? Did they make a deal? Did Bill posses him again? Yet the residents of the Mystery Shack aren't the only ones looking for Danny's alter ego. Powerful forces have combined to take over three dimensions, and the Ghost Boy is the key to their success. Danny doesn't know who to trust. Dipper needs to prove himself. And Mabel wants to keep her brother safe.
