i do not claim anything before chapter 08 as my own. i wrote this when i was 14 and it was heavily, heavily, HEAVILY influenced by the online comic cold front created by smphantom until i latched onto a different plotline. i have since spoken with the artist and they were very understanding. please check out cold front! it is very, very good.

(Description really tells you nothing about the actual story/definitely not the same) Dipper is missing. Dipper has been missing for months. The last day Mabel and their parents saw him was one day before school. And haven't seen him since. All Mabel found in his room was a note. It was obviously a clue but she was never good at figuring this stuff out dipper was. But when she did get it the answer frightened her slightly bringing back memories. Bill Cipher Dipper went back to Gravity falls months before they were supposed to. Why did he leave a note about Bill? Did they make a deal? Did Bill posses him again? When Danny was fighting another attack, his victim vanished without a trace. Bewildered, Sam and Tucker find a place where theres more supernatural signs than any other place in America, but it was on the entire other side of the contentnent. Dipper and Mable were enjoying the time with there two grunkles, Stan And Ford, and there friends Wendy, and Soos. But, as always, nothing is that simple. Three teens crash-land in the forest, and the Pines family take them into there home, otherwise know as the Mystery Shack. Once they realize that these people aren't what they seem to be, all of there lives, even the strangers, will be affected forever. After being trapped in Dipper's mind, Bill realizes that maybe threatening and killing the boy wouldn't be as entertaining as manipulating him. After all, his family had set up the perfect board for him, all he had to do was move a few pieces. At some point that neither Bill nor Dipper could pinpoint, the two become obsessed (in different ways) with each other. Bill loved the dependency of Pinetree on him. And Dipper loved the attention he got from the triangle. In the end, things start to drastically shift in the teen's mind and his new best friend is there to guide him. Mabel isn't the best sister, but she tries. It's not like Dipper's the best brother either. They both have messed up ways of dealing with their trauma, but she doesn't realize just HOW messed up her brother has become. {Please note that this book contains graphic depictions of abuse, strangulation, trauma responses, and hospitalization trauma, along with dark humor, non-consensual medical treatment, death etc. Reader discretion advised.} (This may not be accurate - it is fanfiction.
