Eleven students lived at a typical boarding school, in a typical house, with typical drama and had typical experiences throughout the school year. And I’m sure those eleven students are out there somewhere, but in this story they do not exist. In the Anubis House built by Egyptian enthusiast Robert Frobisher Smythe in the early 1900s the lives of its residents are anything but ordinary. At this boarding school, the homework is to save the world from impending disaster, and failure to complete this homework results in death, and total destruction of life as they know it.
