Toril Stormcloud, an ancient Daughter of Coldharbour, has returned to her native home of Skyrim after being away for several hundred years. She's come back with a purpose, but her plans are derailed when she becomes a captive of the Imperial Legion. Alongside many Stormcloaks-including Ulfric himself-and a few other people, Toril finds herself being carted away to her execution. 
After a harrowing escape alongside one of her fellow prisoners, Toril resumes her mission, heading towards Morthal and an old crypt that holds something very important to her. Something equally as old as herself. Something equally as powerful. And she needs to get to it before others do. Others who would exploit the power within the crypt. So, with a newly turned vampire in tow, Toril heads for the crypt, ready to take on anyone inside.
All she wants to do is protect her best and oldest friend.

Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

Krinna's story is my first fanfic and is based on my first playthrough in VR. I'd played Skyrim so many times on other systems by then, I got the idea of 'what if the Dragonborn already knows what she's supposed to do?' A friend of mine edited and complied all of my stories of Krinna the Dragonborn into a cohesive story with a proper conclusion. So here it is. Krinna has been told in a prophesy that she is the Dragonborn who must save the world. Farkas thinks the Dragonborn is good company, but he only has eyes for a certain Housecarl. Vilkas finds the Dragonborn simply fascinating... Also, the cover is a screen shot from my actual game play.
