When both her parents die in a tragic car accident, Selena is sent to live with her aunt and uncle in North Carolina her senior year of high school. Forced to leave her best friend, her social life, congregation, and her school behind, shes completely lost. Moving from a small town in Connecticut, to an even smaller town in North Carolina, she is looking  just to get through her senior year. 
What happens when the boys look at her in a foreign way to what shes used to and when the girls feel threatened? Who's the right guy? The fake friends? The unexpected blooming romance?
