When a soulmate puts any kind of ink on their skin it shows up on the others skin. Same thing, same place. Raven Smith had been told by his parents that they were soulmates. They had gotten matching tattoos just to prove it. They weren't soulmates. So when they divorced, Ravens father started drinking and his mother commited suicide. Soulmates weren't real. Why should he believe it? Adrian Even's parents were soulmates. Both of his dads, they met in highschool when they noticed a tattoo on both of their hands. Now Adrian is waiting to find his one and only. What happens when Adrian notices notes from his math class on his hand...? What happens when Raven notices flowers and angels appearing on his arm?

Everybody has a tattoo; they could be absolutely anywhere on your body. The tattoo begins appearing on the person's sixteenth birthday. Nobody has the same tattoo as they reflected the person's personality. They could be similar, but they are never duplicated. Depending on the person's soulmates mood, the colour of the tattoo changes. When they're mad, it turns a mix of deep red and orange, when they are embarrassed it changes to a bright yellow, when they are upset it turns blue, when they are feeling lonely it turns purple and so on. The only time the tattoo will light up and turn white is when the person and their soulmate are in a thirty foot radius and when you lock eyes with your soulmate, it begins to heat up. That's when you know you've finally found them.
