Aria Deveraux was just a small town mechanic when the world as she knew it came to a bloody end. She shouldn't have survived that day, she should be a mindless flesh eating zombie like everyone else who had the misfortune of being bit. But she isn't, and for the most part, zombies ignore her presence. A whole year into the apocalypse and Aria knows that people are the real monsters now, not the zombies. She's survived this whole time with only her trusty bullmastiff side kick, avoiding people at all coasts. But when she meets a the most gorgeous man she'd ever laid eyes on, she realizes the difference between surviving and living.

This is my first time ever posting something for other people to read, and I really hope you like it. If you do, let me know! I would love feedback. I'm sorry if there's random typos, I reread it a few times and fixed a few but knowing me there's always more. 

I might change the title of this if I can think of a better one.

So everything was going quite well in her life, except for the fact that her boss hated her, but apart from that she was okay and everything was going well...but all of that came to an end on one specific night when she found herself in the arms of danger after encountering a mysterious yet dangerous man, who had also happen to have a lot of enemies. And since she had encountered him, she had been targeted as a worker for him and so she was promised that her life will be protected by the mysterious man as a returned favor for her saving his life. She has now entered a world where chaos, lies, hurt, death and truth reside and will find herself in a place where though decisions are thrown at her. So, What will she do when she's being chased down by enemies that seek to take her innocent life? Can she trust a man, she never knew, to protect her? Can she....survive? There's only one way to find out...

There was no electricity, and there was no way for the storm Sirens to be sounding, yet they were. The entire Town was awake; everyone had a weapon. Why would a siren sound? They only sounded when they were in Danger, so where was the Danger? When the predators revealed themselves, that was where the siren noise was coming from. Renee could feel her heart jump into her throat. Her face went pale; they were here. They had found the Town. Terror and panic soon swept Huntingtown; everyone knew what those monsters could do. After all, they did conquer the planet and impose the "choosing." Huntingtown was created hoping that its isolation in a cold climate would keep the Predators away, but it didn't. A voice came over those speakers. A male voice Gruff and laced with a growl. It was almost as if whoever was speaking was annoyed and angry. "Although I have enjoyed seeing your little Town outmaneuver many hunters. I am afraid this is where your little games end. However, I will give you a chance to keep your freedom. A hunt. You will be red by your best hunter, Renee Madison." Renee felt her blood go cold as she stared wide-eyed at the ship. She was unknowingly dropping her gun at the news. " she will be your leader; she will be my prize. You have a time advantage. Go!" The ship took off, looking for a place to land, all while the news sank into the Town's residence. Renee had known she had fucked up when she fired at one of those predators and hit him. She had proven herself worthy of the hunt. Now she has to face the consequences, not only her but her entire Town had to. Renee had to win this hunt; the fate of her Town depended on it.
