Connor Daniels is the guy every girl wants to date and every guy wants to be. He's popular and gorgeous and a star on the soccer team. He's the biggest player anyone has ever seen and the biggest douche I have ever met. I'm Ally Davis not popular, but not a nerd. Not pretty, but not ugly. Not athletic, but not a fail in gym class. I am somewhere in the middle, unnoticeable, and undetected with my friends. But, when life happens, and things go wrong for me, I might not be so 'unnoticed' after all. Connor Daniels decides I'm a challenge, and one he must overcome. So, I decide I'll give him a run for his money. We'll see if he can keep up. *warning: foul language*

Emery Carter is a record-breaking college swimmer with Olympic dreams. She attends Pacific Coast University (PCU), a prestigious school known for its elite aquatics program. Emery has sacrificed everything for swimming-dating, social life, even friendships outside the team. Her coach insists she needs a better image to land a major sponsorship deal. Logan Hayes is the star forward of Bayview University's hockey team, PCU's biggest rival. He's known for being talented, cocky, and totally uninterested in relationships after a messy breakup. His team's rivalry with PCU is legendary-especially in the media. When a viral video catches Emery and Logan in a heated argument at a campus event, fans from both schools fuel the fire, turning them into public enemies. But when Logan impulsively claims he's dating Emery (to get his persistent ex off his back), and she realizes a fake romance might make her seem more "relatable" to sponsors, they make a deal: Fake date until the end of the season. No feelings. No problems. Except it's never that easy.
