Yeah I really wish I was joking but I'm not. The zombie apocalypse is here and its not giving anyone a headstart. My family is dead but not my friends and now we only have a limited amount of time till the undead reach us. Time to leave everything we know behind and learn how to survive in the worst possible conditions.

The year is 2010. Everything started on the night of the 4th of July, American Independence day. Five friends just started Universty, Friday nights were movie night. Halfway through the movie, everything was switched off, the horrid screams that alarmed us from nearby. It was like flicking a switch. Loud music from next door came to a sudden stop, the ear-piercing screech of a swerving car. We all stood up racing outside to become face to face with what is now known to be; The Undead. My name is Cassy woods I am 16, I have always been the quiet one, avoiding the spotlight, trying my best to stay out of trouble. Now in a world devastated by death and disease thats the best thing to do. ~~~~~~~~~~ Two years ago a disease broke out, killing people.. however it didn't stop there it brought the dead back..... But they weren't the same, they killed and ate anything that moved. The government decided to bomb the cities most infected to slow the spread, but that just made things so much worse. That's not what I fear though, what I fear most is the people who are left. The people we were are gone, and people will do anything it takes to survive.. if there is one thing I would tell the old me it's fight the dead... but fear the living.
