I paced the small room we were in and punched the wall out of aggravation. She doesn't understand, she never will... She's too innocent.

Her eyes were filled with fear.. Hatred maybe? I couldn't tell.. Maybe something else..

"Why do you keep following me .. And and popping up out of no where?!" Her tiny voice squeaked. Her stuttering seemed uncontrollable. I had mixed feelings for the stuttering. It was a turn on yet it made me mad that she was afraid of me.

"Because... I need to keep you safe and you are a damn magnet for trouble. You would attract the worst possible danger from a damn mile away!! I can't leave you alone without feeling you are okay!"

She put her hands against my chest and shoved me into the door pressing her chest against mine. Her eyes filled with hurt and anger. "Then if I'm such an inconvenience why don't you just leave?! Why don't you just let danger come and get me?!"

I grabbed her wrists and wrapped my hands around them forcing them against her sides. Determined to keep her from moving. "Because I care about you dammit!" My eyes must have been livid because of the reaction she had to my words.

Her lips parted slightly in a gasp and her eyes were filled with shock. Her expression was absolutely unreadable. I loosened my grip on her slightly afraid to hurt the fragile girl in my control.

Heat radiated from every inch of our skin that was touching and I felt her heart beating rapidly against my chest. Oh the power she had over me... I lost all control over myself the day I met her.. And no one has ever had me wrapped tighter around their finger the way she does.
