I woke to my limbs sore and my head hurting. I didn't open my eyes but chose to feel around me instead. I could feel leaves and grass underneath me along with the wind sliding along my skin. I could hear bugs and animals around me, along with the trees swaying. I could smell the fresh air around me. Then i opened my eyes to see the moon above my head through the trees. It shined so bright, and it made its own light in the sky.

The earth crunched beneath my feet, the harsh, cold wind biting my face as I ran through the dense forest. It was closing in on me. I could sense it. Its warm breath against the back of my neck, its footsteps thundering through the trees, its feral snarls and snapping jaws. But it was just a dream. A night terror that has haunted me for the past few months. Or was it... A mysterious howl echoes through the woods. A beast, calling her closer. Why her? Why would it want her?

g!p "dude" billie scoffed. "we're just friends, why do you care so much?" "because friends don't go sneak around and do the things we do!" i cried. "can't you tell that i like you?" "well... don't" she shrugged while turning around to leave.
