Meet Lyric Richards. Best described as a good girl. She's homeschooled, she gets perfect grades. She doesn't do drugs or drink. She's never had a boyfriend, either. Her parents adore her, and she practically lives and breathes horses. Now that summer is coming, she's looking forward to a few months to kick back and relax. Meet Jacquline King. Best described as a bad girl. She's your poster child for the teenage delinquints, and she likes it that way. She's never known a life outside of the gang, and hardly knows her own family. Simply put, her life is a train wreck. And she's never had any inclination to change, and this summer was no different. But someone's about to throw a wrench into their plans... The two end up meeting at a summer Bible camp for troubled teens. Lyric is there because it's at her grandmother's ranch. Jackie is there because, well, she's a troubled teen. They clash immediately; Lyric wants to help the other girl, but Jackie wants nothing to do with her. Add an annoying twin brother, twenty other teens with various issues, and an overexuberant dog, all together at a horse ranch for the entire summer, and cat fights aren't the only thing these people will be dealing with. Beliefs will be tested, hearts will be broken, and lives will be changed this summer. But will they change for good? And will everyone realize that they really are more than they seem?
