Mature
My life was like any normal mothers at one point, ballet reciatls, show-and-tell and 6 year old girls sleepovers. I had become accustomed to buying Barbie dolls and such for my 6 year old Scarlet. Her father and I always did the best to do what we could for Scarlet. We were both fairly young. I am 23, and Scarlet's father, Nathan is 26. We had been together for 6 years when Nathan decided to leave. Just one day he up and decided he couldn't be the man I needed. I had to pick up the pieces as well as try to care for our daughter and explain why Daddy wasn't around anymore. Just as I think the late-nights were as bad as they were going to get with Scarlet, she starts asking questions about my private life before Nathan. Her scheming mind hoping to bring Mommy and Daddy together. How can I not tell her? She has a right to know, and plus, who was I to deny possibly getting my love back, even if it meant abusing my daughters power over her father.
