Edward Crossworth wouldn't care less who was going to be his Bride-to-be. He knew he had to be wed; for his niece, for his family, for the dukedom. His mother had chosen Elisabeth McDonald for him and he was fine with it. Elisabeth was noble, well educated, pretty and his mother's choice; plus his precious niece adored her. What else would he ask for?
However, when Elisabeth called off the wedding and run away from him, he realized that he needed to take extreme measures to convince her to come back and marry him...
