Sequel to Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Destiny: The Final Guardian.                                         New friends, new powers, new enemies. The world of Avalar is in utter chaos, drowning in the blood of its war. An overbearing evil rules the land, threatening to consume it completely. Just when hope seems lost for its remaining warriors of good, all their problems are thrown onto Yugi and his friends' shoulders when one of Seto Kaiba's machines create a way for their worlds to join. In order to protect their world and maintain peace in Avalar, the whole gang has to join with the warriors of Avalar and fight alongside them against the forces of evil that threaten the stability of both their home and their new friends home. But will they stand a chance against this new threat that even the mighty dragons failed to conquer? The gang is completely unprepared for what they about to endure, for they will face a threat that Jordyn's dragon form, FrostFire, knows all to well. A dragon from her past arrives, one that overpowered her long ago. One that she fears will be the end of them, and she may be right, for not all of them will survive this all-out war.

Long ago, there was a world known as Ryugaeia. It was a peaceful world where dragons and humans lived in harmony. Dragons were the keepers of the elements and humans were keepers of the world. Time passed and the Dragons and humans formed an alliance. The Dragons could lend their powers to the humans and the chosen human of each dragon became one with the dragon, inheriting great strength and elemental powers. However there was one dragon Armageddon, a dark dragon who hated humans, jealous of their duty as rulers of Ryugaeia. Armageddon revolted and awakened an army of Dark Dragons, then joining forces with an equally evil human warlord, he terrorized Ryugaeia. When evil was at its peak, a new hope was created. It was the Dragonhaärt. All the good dragons combined their spirits and a Dragonheart was born. This heart could control all dragon powers put together and Armageddon was defeated and sealed. This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. In time all this came to be known as "The Tragic Legend." As to when the Dragonheart would return, no one knew.
