The live concert had just ended and I was successfully off stage. The flashing lights, the strum of my guitar, and our voices together seemed like a faded memory. Whether we lost or won, didn't matter. Not to me, at least.
With a final sigh, I managed to pull myself out of my thoughts and back into reality when two arms wrapped themselves around my waist. They squeezed slightly before their voice entered my ear in a soft whisper.
