Rebkka tried her best to blow off a young man when she was working at a coffee shoppe right out of college. He kept coming around trying to attain her attention when finally she gave in. They dated for a couple years and then got married. Not long after they were married things went south fast. His father passed away and his mother kept abusing him until he told her off and to get out of his life. Even though he did not want to abuse his wife but ending up doing exactly what both of his parents did to him. It was worse when they found out they were going to have a baby boy whom they named Samual, Sam for short. He hated his dad and could not wait to get out of the house and away from him after he graduated high school. Rebekka's parents' passed away in an auto accident and she called her cousin Dee to tell her of the news. Dee came to her aide but brought Evander for protection and company since Conall could not go with her. When Evander met Rebekka his dragon was going all kinds of hyper and told Dee she is their mate. This was not going to be an easy road to get his mate away from her husband but he was going to do everything he possibly could to save her before it was too late for both of them.

One day Rose's father said very cruel words which made her leave the house. she left the town she was living in and went to another city where she once again crossed paths with Noah.

I was walking to my locker when I heard someone calling for somebody. "Hey! Little cutie!" They called. I kept waking, since no one noticed me and I doubted that it would've started then. It was a hallway full of cute girls, all of them much cuter than me, so why would they be calling for me? They whistled. "Shortie with the ponytail!" They called, their voice now closer to me. I still kept walking to my locker since there were still several other girls, who were taller than me but still relatively short, wearing ponytails. I felt a light tap on my shoulder once I got to my locker. I turned around and my breath caught in my throat at who was talking to me. Maximus King. The hottest guy in all of Hillside High. With his jet black hair that was always messy but still looked amazing, his steel grey eyes that all the girls talked about, his sharp jawline that could cut someone, his tall, six-foot five inches form that towered over me, and his strong form that could easily take out pretty much all of the guys in school, he was what every girl looked for. He had a bit of a bad reputation, well, a lot of a bad reputation, but most girls didn't care about that. I cared, and was very afraid of him and all of his friends except for Xander. In fact, if he had a reputation of sleeping around, I think I would've avoided him like the plague. Good thing he only flirted with girls and never slept, kissed, or touched them. Amlyne had been fighting the feelings she felt for Jeffrey Alan or Jeff for 10 years. They met when she was 11 and he was 14. He had moved from Vermont to South Carolina.
