This story is told by a girl and how she moves to a new town. She has been abused by her parents ever since she was about 2 years old. her boyfriend abuses her and she has an autistic son that she adopted when he was 2. well she meets jack frost and the other guardians the first day after school let out. She now has to figure out how to keep herself and her autistic son safe, because someone else is after them, not just her husband and her parents. If you want to know more, you have to read the story. (please excuse the bad language. I have to put a little drama in there and that is what i can think of. He had already been going through enough and this old witch wasn't helping. He then yelled at her to leave him be and to find her own "stupid plants". The witch wasn't happy, in fact, his blind rudeness angered her. So, she cursed him to mortality for 3 months. If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Not only is he fighting against time, but the Boogyman decides to make Jack a target. Will he learn his lesson? Or will he die in 3 months time? If he is to survive, what will happen next? What will happen to Pitch? **This book is not all light hearted, there are serious topics included in it.**
