[Kakashi x Reader Story]
Kakashi was a close friend. Someone to depend on and trust with the lives of many. The idea of losing him to the hands of death seemed like an impossible idea for even the most bitter minded of people. Especially with how he had risen from such a bitter child himself into someone who teaches others to accept destiny. Though he left, and he left a lot of people. From his boyfriend Yamato, to his best friend Guy, and to another friend who soon has to experience sometimes the dead don't leave the living.

This is a complete reworking of my story "Bump Buddies". So if you've read the original, throw out everything you think you know and remember and start anew! Y/N has always struggled to find a family to call her own. Her biological parents abandoned her, her adoptive ones died tragically and her adoptive brothers are both too selfish to give her the time of day. She's good at hiding how hurt it makes her feel, but little does she know one bad decision will lead to the family she's always dreamed of. It's not conventional, it's not ideal, but it sure is entertaining. I love everyone that supported the first story but I'm so embarrassed by it due to how young I was when it was written. Now, 6 years later I want to try again and make it worth your time. So let's enjoy this new adventure together!

Kakashi and Iruka have never been the best of friends, but when Kakashi gets captured and Iruka volunteers to rescue him, just to rub it in his face, he sees a whole new side of Kakashi that he ever imagined he would. A little bit of an AU, I just changed some things to make it more interesting and I switched up the timeline and events. Kakashi becomes Hokage before Team 7 gets Sai on their team, so everything is a little sped up.
