I don't know where I am. Some basement, I suppose. It's dark, and I'm sure it's passed curfew at the House.

The House treated it's residents well; it's an academy. A school for the smartest, or for whoever's parents has enough money to buy them into the school.

I was there on a scholarship that I earned in middle school. The House is a high school with many special students... Special as in rich, famous or extremely smart.

It seems that though I'm "smart" enough to have a scholarship to one of the highest-ranked high schools, I lack common sense. Or, rather, I take too many dangerous chances when calling someone's bluff.

He's been stalking me. He knew where I was. I don't know how, but he did.

The threats? I didn't believe them.
I figured it was just to scare me, and that was part of the reason he did it.

However, I shouldn't have called his bluff.

"You're bluffing," I told him, sure of myself.

      But he wasn't.
