It was 1914 when the First World War broke out it, all because of one death, Archduke Franz Ferdinand; some blamed the assassin, Gavrilo Princip, others the chauffeur, Ivan Koell.
Ivan was just driving one of the most important people, at the time, the death was nothing to do with him, the turn was a shortcut, a quicker way for Fran Ferdinand to get to the hospital, Gavrilo Princip was a coincidence. So why did he feel so bad?

Yes you may learn something about the battle of Shrewsberry but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Content/Trigger Warning: A battle is depicted at length, relatively graphic blood/gore associated with that. A character is injured severely and must twice undergo surgery on page, this is fairly graphic and may be disturbing to some readers. Brief innuendo. Some brief strong language. Some mild sexuality. Then his life was pretty much threatened by one of the most dangerous kids in school. Gerard got mad easily-and when he got mad, you would fear for your life (well, probably not literally) but he was dangerous and got mad easily and all the time. Maybe it got out of hand when he wound up putting an innocent kid in the hospital almost killing him. Everyone scared of Gerard. Except maybe one kid. The year is 1917, and the Great War is slowly drawing to a close, but the end can't come fast enough for the two nations from the Southern Hemisphere, exhausted and ready to go home and to try to resume a normal life. Kyle knows he's close to breaking. Even hearing the name of that cursed place aloud causes him pain, and he knows Avery feels the same. Then comes that stupid smiling American, with his talk of heroes and aide. And Kyle can't help but start to feel differently about Alfred.
