Naidean is the princess of Croandra. She is a Lock. Locks are humans with a sort of special power. Her power is the ability to control water, and use it as a weapon. She wishes to use her power to unite her kingdoms people and overthrow her tyrant of a father. Along the way she meets people who help her in her mission. Among them are Lysander a knight in training, Bartholomew a prince working for the same goal, and Adara a Lock from a common background.
