By tapping into the unused portion of one's brain, they are able to immerse the player into a world unlike any other game played before. As real as if they were actually there, the Rift program sends the player into their own mind in a world with infinite possibilities, where each decision can drastically change the gameplay. Wren Xavier, the CEO of Altmis, goes into the first program of the Rift, Athalos, to test it. Athalos is a massive world of magic and strife set in the genre of medieval fantasy. When he decides to become a Millen, he unknowingly chooses to become the hero of the story, able to wake the mystical swords Phoenix and Gyr and save Athalos from the savage faction of the Lancers, bent on destroying the kingdom. Will he be able to figure out how this new world works, build friendships along the way and save the world he has created?

Eighteen year old gamer Mato Takahara is put in a dangerous position after taking part in a failed BETA test for the world's first virtual reality MMO game(Blades in Paradise) which resulted in him gaining dual personalities due to the AI that established his connection with the game world. The AI which has now gained sentience begins to struggle against Mato for dominance over his soul. Because of this, Mato finds himself embarking on a perilous path in-game in order to master his soul and as thus, restore the thin line which lies between the game world and reality. He in turn; encounters several friends along the way as well as several foes which he must overcome to reach his goal. Yet, the overall question remains... Can Mato gain mastery of his soul in time or will he sink into the abyss as his AI counterpart takes over his soul? To accomplish this task he enlists the help of Kayu, a seemingly carefree dark elf(a third personality in form of his in game avatar) to go ahead and exploit the limits of the human soul. "Jeez! The Lost Worldz Rpg isn't a real RPG Game in RL, sadly. If Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games existed in the first place, best believe I'd be all over it... Getting off track, my bad. Overall, this is something I came up with, so bare with me, because this game takes Protagonists Zero, Kuro, and El into the magical realm with Dungeon Crawling, PVP, and the always occurring will to survive. Not to mention the wide load of Anime References I got in mind... So stop reading this long intro and start reading! Please vote and leave comments to help me make this Story better... This Version of the story has been scrapped by yours truly, but I left it just in case anyone wanted to read it anyways, since it focused more on comedy than actual fighting.
