As a child, imaginary friends are treasured so very much. They are often the first friends you will ever make. They grow up by your side, and are always there. You can always be sure that they will have time for you. But will you always have time for them?
Lucas Moore is Avery’s imaginary friend. Always has been, always will. He is always the first person for her to turn to, always the first person to be there for her. As Avery grows older, she begins to become interested in makeup, boys, parties; her imagination begins to disappear. While she goes out and ventures into life, Lucas is left alone to fizzle away into nothing. After years and years of being alone, will he finally be set free?
