Alice grew up going from foster home to foster home. Owning either hand-me-downs from her eight other siblings or anything her foster home have her. Maria has been spoiled almost her whole life, getting anything she wanted and loving the easy life. With a serious secret, she tries her best to blend in with society and be invisible.
When they're both invited to Oakfield Academy, there lives change forever. Receiving an important once in a life time opportunity to skip the eight grade and attend a prestigious career academy, was a hard thing to turn down. An even harder thing to accept as well. With no friends, they find themselves alone in a high school full of racists, bullies, and extremely religious people. They quickly become friends, but is there more to the story than a simple romance between a pair of girls?
