A family moves into a neighborhood. But this is no ordinary family, a head family members is chosen each generation, and that head family member controls everyone, and everything. Nana Nancy has been head family member for 63 years now. Her time is almost up, 15 year old Cyrus wants to be head of the family but he's evil in many ways first with his carelessness for other people besides himself, second of his obsession with fame and power, and third he'll do anything to get what he wants. But when a new Head member is chosen the spirit of the family's founder posses the next member, Cyrus knows this and has a plan to get his way, besides that the family is old fashioned and creepy not only because of their troubled past also because of their insane beliefs. Their next door neighbors have a boy just like Cyrus, Johnny Same face, hight, weight but two completely different personalities. Johnny's curiosity wonders to the family's mystery and could get him in trouble.......

Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried.
