"Please TRITON! Don't leave me!" I can't keep my tears from falling down. I just can't. I don't care if I look stupid with what I am doing.

"JUST SHUT UP! YOU! You cheated on me! Xen! With my own bestfriend." Pointing his finger at me, he shouted. No, he roared at me. He was about to turn away but I hold his hand.

"I-i didn't mean to do that! I i-it was a mistake! I swear Wayne!" I said while sobbing. I really don't know what to do to make him believe that it was really a mistake! I knelt in front of him.

"Wayne believe me," My chest starts throbbing. "I didn't do that!"

"You don't have the rights to cry! Do you think , I will believe your lies again? NO! Not ever again! I thought you're different. I never thought of you doing that things! I trusted you. You don't look like a heartbreaker, but you are one." With that, he left. His words made me weak, it really stabbed my heart. I know, I know I deserved this.

Bawat kirot ay may katumbas na paghihiganti. Yes, every pain demands a payback. That's the first thing I learned when I loved him. Not consciously, not right away-but slowly, in pieces. He taught me how to love. His love was wildfire-reckless, consuming, beautiful in the way it ruined everything. I thought I was lucky to have it. I thought he saw something in me. Maybe he did. Maybe he saw the parts that were already breaking. He taught me how to bend the rules, how to silence the voice in my head that said "this isn't right." With him, right and wrong blurred until they didn't matter. Until all that mattered was staying close enough not to lose him, but distant enough not to drown. And then came pain. He taught me pain in a thousand unspoken ways. In words that stung more than silence. In apologies that came too late. In touches that lingered with regret. And pain... And pain. Again and again No fairy tale. No forever. It was never about soulmates. It was just... a story. A complicated, messy, painful story. But still, I gambled. I bet my heart on something that didn't deserve it. And in the end, that so-called love? It destroyed me. It didn't just break me-it broke everything I cared about. Everyone I loved. It burned through every soft thing I had left inside me. Because that love... Was disastrous. Behind the illusion of love hid everything I was afraid of: pain, betrayal, lies, manipulation. A heartbreak wrapped in promises. A knife dressed like a kiss. But here's what no one tells you: after heartbreak comes something sharper. Stronger. Revenge. And revenge-it's not sweet. It's not cold. It's best served hot. The kind of heat that doesn't ask for closure. It takes it. I, who was a he, now turned into a she. I will serve pain out of pain. Not to mirror the cruelty, but to remind the world: You don't get to hurt someone like me and walk away unburned.

Prologue I've always believed that silence was safety. Silence doesn't betray. It doesn't scream when you flinch. It doesn't ask why you can't be touched, or why your hands shake when someone comes too close. For years, it was just me and Lola in this house. Our little world-quiet, tucked away, untouched. Safe. I knew the rules. Don't talk to strangers. Don't trust anyone. Don't go out. Don't let the past find you. And I followed them. Faithfully. Until he came. A man with cold and mysterious eyes. A man with warm hands he never offered. A man who looked at me like he'd seen me break-and still stayed. He didn't belong. Not in my world of closed windows and muted voices. Not with the shadows I kept locked behind my ribs. But he moved in anyway. Without warning. Without permission. And when I tried to ask why-Lola just smiled. "For your protection," she said. I told myself not to care. I told myself he'd leave eventually. That whatever arrangement he had with Lola wasn't my business. But curiosity has a way of gnawing at silence. And one quiet afternoon-when I went to clean Lola's room before she came home from her trip- I found something. Hidden behind old bills in a rusted tin box I had no right to open. Inside it, a paper that made the world tilt sideways. Lola's medical records. Dates. Diagnoses. Proof that she was sick. That she'd been hiding it. And beneath it all- A thick, yellowing envelope with my full name on it. Certificate of Marriage His name. My name. And a date I don't remember. I never wore a dress. Never walked down an aisle. Never said "I do." But the signature at the bottom was mine. And the man I was supposedly married to- Was the stranger I'd spent the last few weeks trying to push out of my house. A stranger who, somehow... was already mine?

I woke up feeling like my head is going to burst anytime. I don't know what happened but as far as I can remember I'm at Eston's place with my schoolmates. I looked around the room of I don't know whom and my eyes landed on the back of a stranger sleeping beside me, naked.I looked at myself only to find out that I'm no longer wearing anything. Now it comes to my senses. I'm in a room with a man who I don't even know, naked too. There's only one thing running in my mind. I had a one night stand with this stranger. I looked at his back again with familiarity. I know this back... I stand up and tip-toed to see who's this stranger was. And when I saw his face, I was stopped on my track, can't believe of what I'm seeing right now. " No...this can't be." I murmured. There is no freakin' hell that something happened between me and my GAY BESTFRIEND. " This is not true." I abruptly picked my clothes and put it on. This is not right. I'm sorry Max...
