"My therapist said I should talk. Which hasn't happened. Then she said that maybe I should try and write letters. Like, hypothetical letters that won't ever send. Letters written to someone that I trust and love.

"That's just the thing: I don't trust anyone anymore. So, I suppose I'll just write to myself. I mean, you. God, this'll get confusing."

Brooke Casher hadn't said a word since she had lost both her happiness and her brother in the accident. As a way to try and cope, she began to write out what she wanted to say.

The only one who cared enough to keep me around, I know that by the time I give you this, you won't know where I am until the end. If you skip it all, if you ignore it, or if you read it before I leave just know that nonetheless, I wanted to say thank you. There's just some things in life, I need to get off my chest and doing this, I feel like I could have someone to tell.
