The Coyote

A young man living with his mother, who is struggling financially, in Brimfield, Massachusetts is stealing food from a local store one day when he leaves to find the police waiting for him outside the store. He runs away in to the local woods to an area that he knows they won’t catch him. Unfortunately for him, there have been reports over the past six months of an animal in those woods slaughtering and eating other animals. . This animal attacks him and almost kills him. The young man awakens the next afternoon at the hospital completely fine and really confused. He soon discovers he can do things he couldn’t do before. He’s taller, faster, and much more. He goes through many confusing situations afterward including peeing on his house, being chased by the police (again), hurting the one person he cares about, having a new urge to make new friends, talking to Gaia, goddess of earth, or Mother Earth, and taking on a new responsibility that he never knew he would.
